Copper Beech Brewery & Taproom

27th February 2026

Ian Rogers

The Brewery and Taproom is in an industrial style building in what is now a cul-de-sac opposite the Magistrates Court. On the side of the road where the court building is are a few bench seats which cater for smokers. The brewery occupies one part of the Ground floor, with the remainder being the Taproom.

The founder of the Company started off in 2019 as a home brewer in a garden shed, underneath a copper beech tree, before expanding to a brewery operation in Kidderminster.

In 2024 the Brewery and Taproom opened in its current location. Today, the Brewery is owned and run by four equal partners: founders Dan and Sam, alongside local entrepreneurs and friends Sam and Patch.

The floor is concrete with an odd rug and the walls are bare brick with hanging art works. At the far end is a stage, with speakers, which enable recorded music, but also allows for live acts.

Keg offerings offer a wide range of styles and strengths. For non-beer drinkers there is a curated selection of drinks, including a range of wine and spirits such as gin, vodka, rum, and whisky.

The courtyard, which is smoke free, has bench seating and at certain times hosts various street food vendors. The upstairs area is available for private hire.

There is occasional street food offering in the courtyard. Also occasional social activities such as a running club, quiz nights and a Homebrew club. Wi-Fi is available with a password.
