Whether you are in Worcester for visiting the Cathedral, going to the Horse Racing, Cricket at the County Ground, taking in the history of King Charles II escape after battle, or just fancy a Belgian Beer, then the TripelB is well worth a visit. It can be found in a former shop unit just off the pedestrianised High Street, just near the Tourist Information Office.
There will usually be some tables and chairs with Belgian Brewery umbrellas on the pavement outside, to help you locate it.
Entering through the door, the short side of the bar will be immediately in front of you, with the longer side forming a L shape.
Beyond the initial rectangular bar area, with a step up is an additional area with further seating and beyond that are the toilets and kitchen area. The walls are adorned with lots of posters and signs, some of which are neon.
If you do not want to order immediately, you can take a seat and take a Menu folder which will show you all the drinks and food currently available.
Belgian Draught beers are a mixture of regulars, such as Liefmans Fruitesse (3.8%), Bruge Zot (6%), De Koninck Special Belge (5.2%), Vedett Extra White (4.7%), Vedett Extra Pilsner (5.5%).
In addition to this there may be up to 7 changing Specials, such as Chouffe Session (4%), Rodenbach Alexander (5.6%), Palm (5.2%).
At the time of the visit, I was able to enjoy some Special editions of Chimay 150 (10%) and Westmalle Duo (7.2%). There are also up to 100 different bottled beers in stock. Other drinks such as natural wines, spirits and coffee are available.
Bar Snacks such as Beer cheese, Crisps, Nuts and Olives are available at all times.
Hot food such as Bacon baguette, Croque Monsieur, Bitterballen (Dutch small round deep fried meatballs), Toasties, fries. Waffles and cakes may be available, but please check the menu.
There are sometimes special events on which are bookable, so please do check their social media.
Payment is card only, no cash.
