Ian Rogers
Formerly Brave Sir Robin; Hopsmiths; Noble; Tap & Spile; Marler's Bar.
There is a single entrance at the corner, where you enter and pass most of the seating to arrive at the bar.
Immediately in front of you will be the potential 6 Cask ales which which try to cover a wide range, normally - a Mild a bitter, a stout or porter, a session ale, a ruby / red or brown ale, and a very strong IPA.
Moving to the left of the bar are the Keg offerings of up to 10, plus behind the bar are 4 further handpumps serving Cider. All drinks, in all forms, are rotated. Prices vary according to the strength of the product.
There is a variety of hotch-potch recycled seating, plus a few picnic benches out the front, where you may catch some second hand Ganja smoke from the local residents!
There is also quite a collection of vinyl records behind the bar, which can result in a variety of music styles being played, plus Wednesday and Sunday evenings, there may be live music.
Some snacks are available, beyond the usual crisp type offerings - such as Olives, Sausage rolls, Pork pies or cheeses, subject to availability, plus some times there will be pop up offerings.
No screens are in evidence, but allegedly special arrangements may be made if Arsenal (both women and men's teams) are playing in a Cup Final, so that is a massive negative!?!
